Who We Are

Our Legacy of Service: Since 1962

The Yayasan Sosial Kemah Injil (YASKI) is a social organization with a solid and enduring history, established by leaders of the Indonesian Gospel Tabernacle Church (KINGMIT). Founded on August 28, 1962, in Singaraja, Bali, our mission is to provide guidance, education, and social welfare.

Legal Standing and Credibility

To ensure transparency and full compliance, the establishment of YASKI was legalized by Denpasar Notary Ida Bagus Ketut Rurus, Deed No. 54, dated September 5, 1962.

Current Leadership:
The Foundation’s Board of Patrons (Dewan Pembina) includes co-founder Ni Nyoman Sarmi and ensures the mission remains aligned with the original vision.

The Foundation’s current Chairman is I Made Timotius Moerthy, as formalized by Notary Deed of Amendment No. 19, dated May 25, 2021.

The 400 Baith-El Orphanage

Our core social mission is fulfilled through the management of the Panti Asuhan Kristen 400 Baith-El (LKSA 400 Baith-El). The orphanage was founded on March 1, 1972, through the vision and dedication of Pdt. I Wayan Radeg Murthy and his wife, Ni Nyoman Sarmi.

What began as a rented house is now a solid 4-story building, located at Jalan Jempiring No. 20, Semarapura, Klungkung, Bali, serving children from Bali, NTB, NTT, Sulawesi, and beyond.

What We Do

Empowering 91 Futures

Our mission, defined by the Yayasan Sosial Kemah Injil (YASKI) bylaws, is fully realized through our work at the Lembaga Kesejahteraan Sosial Anak (LKSA) Kristen 400 Baith-El. We provide a safe, nurturing, and spiritually rich environment for children from underprivileged backgrounds across Bali, NTB, NTT, Sulawesi, and other regions.

The Children We Serve

Total Children Served: 91 Individuals

We believe education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty. Our commitment ensures every child receives quality schooling, from primary to senior high levels:

Elementary School (SD): 34 children

Junior High (SLTP): 23 children

Senior High (SLTA): 26 children

Preschool/Not Yet Enrolled: 8 children

Operasional Needs and a Transparency

To maintain our level of care for 91 children and the 4-story facility, our monthly operational expenses are substantial.

According to our August 2025 Financial Report, our major expenditures are focused on:

1.

Education & School Fees

Rp 12.993.500 (This includes tuition, books, uniforms, and extracurricular courses).

2.

Staff Honorarium/Caregivers

Rp 12.041.123 (Ensuring consistent, loving care for every child).

3.

Rp 5.392.000 (Providing three nutritious meals daily).
Your support directly translates into food security and educational opportunity for these 91 children.

Foster Family Program (Keluarga Asuh)

Beyond Financial Aid: Become a Foster Family

The most crucial need of a child is not just material—it is the need for a family that loves them. Our Foster Family Program seeks to match every child at the LKSA 400 Baith-El Orphanage with a dedicated family committed to nurturing their growth and emotional well-being. This is more than a sponsorship; it is a long-term commitment to a child’s heart and future.

The Role of a Foster Family

Foster Families provide a vital external support system that helps the child thrive emotionally, academically, and socially.

Emotional Support

Being a consistent, loving presence in the child’s life. This relational connection is the most important element.

Basic Needs

Committing to supporting the child’s essential needs, including food, clothing, and school fees (as detailed in our monthly financial reports).

Family Holidays

The child may spend holidays and time off with your family at your home.

External Control

Serving as an ethical external control mechanism, ensuring the transparency and integrity of the orphanage’s operations.

Building a Future Through Networking

By opening your life to a child, you are providing invaluable tools for their adulthood

Professional Networking

You help provide the child with networking opportunities that will be crucial for their careers and future success after they graduate

Life Experience

Exposure to a family environment, outside of the orphanage, offers practical life skills and broader perspectives

Career Mentorship

Foster Families are encouraged to share their professional expertise and connections, acting as mentors to guide children through educational choices and career pathways, providing real-world insight.

Location is Not a Barrier (Global Reach)

Your family can be anywhere! We welcome families from outside Bali, other cities, or even internationally.

Language

While language differences may exist initially (especially with younger children/toddlers), we believe this barrier can be overcome with time and commitment. We can match international families with our youngest children (balita) to facilitate early adaptation

Connection

Communication can be maintained through letters, video calls, and regular visits to the orphanage

Regular Digital Reporting

To bridge the distance, YASKI commits to providing foster families with monthly photo/video updates and progress reports on the child’s academic, health, and spiritual development
